Wally Boyko spent 12 years in the marketing departments of Sears and Montgomery Wards prior to starting his own company in 1979. As his first endeavor, Wally created and produced the first Health, Beauty & Physical Fitness Expo in the world. Wally made an amazing discovery at this convention and eight months later he produced the first Body Building Expo. The Superbowl of Bodybuilding was added a year later. Wally continued to innovate and shape the fitness industry with many more “first’s.” Some of his introductions include: National Fitness Trade Journal which is the premier fitness industry magazine, National Fitness Trade Show, created female fitness competitions with the introduction of his Ms. Fitness contests, Ms. Fitness magazine, and executive produced over 50 TV specials that aired internationally.
